Strivescan Scanner Fees  |  We are working with Strivescan to bring you easy, smooth student data collection at all our in-person & virtual events. 

Contactless Student Data Collection  |  We will be contactless this year due to COVID and require all exhibitors to have this technology.  This will allow additional safety in no extra contact of sharing pens, contact cards, etc.  This also increases your student data quality by removing handwritten cards.  You will be required to pay this scanner fee per region for all in-person Montana fairs you are attending. 

Fees -  $125 per Region (6 Fairs)   |  $ 225 Regions (12 Fairs) |  $275 for all 3 Regions (all 18 Fairs)  |  We will collect this required fee in August before the fairs.  When you sign up for in-person fairs, you are agreeing to pay this additional student data collection / technology fee.  *If any in-person fairs are cancelled, this pricing will adjust to fit the fair numbers.  *Fee's from Strivescan may adjust for cancelled fairs.

Overview of Strivescan 

Montana Post Secondary Educational Opportunities Council fairs are proud to announce we have partnered with StriveScan to bring electronic student scanning to all of our fall 2021 college fairs and virtual events. 

StriveScan is the exclusive provider of student scanning for the college fairs sponsored by these NACAC affiliates: New Jersey (NJACAC), Pennsylvania (PACAC), Ohio (OACAC), Indiana (InACAC), Illinois (IACAC), Iowa (IACAC), Missouri (MOACAC), Great Plains (GPACAC), Rocky Mountain (RMACAC), Pacific Northwest (PNACAC), Western (WACAC), Hawaii (HACAC), and International (IACAC) ACACs. We also work with individual high schools, community-based organizations, and other organizers of college and university events across the United States and in over 30 countries globally.
Students register via their own phones and a barcode will be texted and emailed to them immediately. Colleges can download the StriveScan app to scan student phones and get access to their information instantly.

Using the StriveScan mobile app, college representatives will be able to easily scan students’ barcodes to collect their information. This will save your institution the time and expense of processing hundreds of paper inquiry cards while being environmentally-friendly, contactless, safe, and allowing students more time to have valuable conversations. 

After the fair, students receive a report of all of the colleges with whom they scanned, along with the contact info of each representative.


StriveScan is FERPA & GDPR compliant.

For Fall 2021 all exhibitors are required to use and pay this scanner technology fee.  For safety during COVID-19, we want fairs to be contactless.  See registration form for more details.  We will be collecting this fee in August 2021 for all in-person fair registrations.

how does it work?

We ask all students to register before the fair and bring their barcode to the fair, so you can easily scan their information and ​not have to collect and read contact cards with illegible hand-writing.   This benefit also saves you personal time and fees that you would incur to enter and process the student data from these cards.
* A special thank you to StriveScan for their help with this service!  StriveScan is an outside company that MPSEOC works with to help you and students attending the fair.  Therefore, MPSEOC is not responsible for any specifics with the scanners as far as technical support, scanning app details, orders, data collection, data security, & data exchange, etc.  None of the profits of this service are related to MPSEOC.  MPSEOC helps with this entirely as a service to colleges, students, counselors, and the function of the fairs.  All data ownership is with Strivescan.  Please contact them directly with questions about scanners  www.strivescan.com .  Thank you!
